Hold your mala in your right hand, draped between your middle and index fingers. Starting at the guru bead, use your thumb to count each smaller bead, pulling it toward you as you recite your mantra. Do this 108 times, traveling around the mala, until you once again reach the guru bead.
According to ancient Yogic practices, chakra centers can be activated through meditating, chanting mantras, doing specialized breathing exercises, using certain ayurvedic herbs, and doing physical exercises like yoga asana.
When balanced, aligned, and unblocked, energy flows freely through the chakras, harmonizing your body, mind, and spirit.
Breathing exercises and relaxation meditation can help you reach this alignment. A yoga pose for a corresponding chakra can also open and balance it.
One of the best ways to cleanse your mala beads is to keep them in the Ganga Jal for a few hours to cleanse it.

Carefully wrap the Mala as many times as you can (usually 3 to 4 times) to slide it around your wrist. We do not recommend wrapping full gemstone Malas as the tension created can break the strand. We make 27 bead bracelet malas to wear on your wrist.
One should have a Mala or Rosary consisting of 108 beads as is significant in all Tantra & Veda Texts. Repeat Mala for 2 to 3 times daily and minimum 1 time.
