With the complexion of yogurt and snow, emerged from the ocean of milk,I bow to Lord Chandra (Moon), the embodiment of tranquility, adorned with the crescent on his head. |

Born from the ocean of milk, accompanied by Rohini, O Lord with the moon as your diadem, and Balachandra (Young Moon), I bow to you. |

Sudhayaya Yatkirana: Poshayantyoshadhivanaṁ | Sarvannarasahetum Tam Namami Sindhu Nandanaṁ ||4|| |
Nourishing all herbs with the beam of nectar, for the sake of all living beings, To the delighter of the ocean’s daughter (Moon), I bow. |
